Why We Call It “Gathering”
We call our Sunday worship time Gathering’s because the church is not a building, a program, or a religious service people attend. The church is God’s people—living, serving, making disciples, sharing the gospel, and worshiping Him throughout the week. When Teays Valley Church gathers, we come together as one body to hear God’s Word, pray, sing, encourage one another, and celebrate the Gospel. Then we return back to our homes, schools, workplaces, and communities to live on mission. The Gathering is an important part of who we are, but the church does not stop being the church when the Gathering ends.
We meet at Teays Valley East Middle School. Times coming soon!
